Story

At the time of the Romans, this place was called Turgalia. Passed here Roman road that connected Merida and Zaragoza. In 1430, Trujillo received city status. In 1465 year free market privileges.

Trujillo is built on a hill, on top of which is Moorish fortress built during the Reconquista in the 12th century.
