Tarvisio is a beautiful small town in the province of Udine, almost on the border with Austria and Slovenia. The city is located on northeastern Italy in the scenic mountainous Alps. Story

The origin of Tarvisio and the beginning of the history of the city is connected with Celts. It was they who formed the first settlement here – Taurisci. From the beginning of the 11th century, Tarvisio was ruled by CityBamberg. At this time, the commercial value of the settlement increases. Camporosso (Camporosso) – a small commune in the suburbs Tarvisio, located in a small valley surrounded by the Alps. By cable car you can climb to the mountain Lussari (Monte Santo di Lussari), on which is located the old monastery and church, as well as ski slope, which takes skiers from December to April. From the top of the mountain a beautiful view of the surroundings.
