Coast – a stone castle of the 14th century in the Czech Republic, located 80 km from Prague near the town of Mlada Boleslav. This medieval the fortress lies in a beautiful area of forests and low cliffs at the borders picturesque natural landscape Czech Paradise. Castle stands on small elevations on the banks of ponds that are equipped dams. In case of danger, the dam was destroyed and the fortress turned into a water castle.
An interesting legend is why the castle got its name … In the Hussite Wars one of the Hussite leaders, invincible Jan Zizka never took this fortress. People began to call the castle strong and hard as a bone. In fact, this is not the case at all. This castle located not on a high hill, but in a wooded valley. Army Zizka fortress simply did not notice.
