Story
In the 15-18 centuries on the site of the future resort there were several small villages. The first mention of Borjomi is dated 19 century. In 1825, Russian soldiers discovered mineral water, which soon became widely known.
Here was founded a city that became a spa resort. and even served as the summer residence of the imperial family. AT 1890 began the production of mineral water under the brand “Borjomi”. In 1918, Borjomi received city status.
