On Mount Pelion, to which, in fact, leads the train route, lived the centaurs with their glorious leader Chiron, and to the south of her was the town of Yolk, which, according to myths, was the center of all Thessaly region. This is confirmed by archaeological data. Iolk is also associated with the legends of Apollo and Jason, the leader argonautov.

Passengers of the tourist train can not only listen fascinating myths about the ancient inhabitants of these places, but also admire the surrounding landscapes and beauties of Mount Pelion, the height which, by the way, is 1651 m.

The train departs at 10:00 local time from Ano Lechonia and at 15:00 from Milies.

Ticket price: 18 € for adults and 10 € for children for a round trip; 10 € and 6 € for a one-way trip, respectively.
