But time passes, and tourism in Greece returns, despite all still ongoing economic crisis. Tourists reopen for themselves the beauty and glory of the Greek land both on the mainland and on 6000 islands.
So, last year Greece was visited by a record number of tourists – 17.9 million people from around the world. This fact is undoubtedly positive. reflected on the economic side. Tourism accounted for 16.4% Greek GDP in 2012. ”
