С 21 ноября по 20 декабря в Салониках будет проходить5th Food Festival. It promotes development traditions of modern gastronomy in the Greek northern capital. The event also strengthens links with non-profit associations.
The festival is organized on the initiative of the municipality of Thessaloniki with aim of finding the gastronomic identity of the city. It takes participation of both amateurs and professionals. Big holiday Gastronomy fills with tastes and aromas bars, Uzeria, restaurants, bakeries and squares of the city.
November 21-22 from 11:00 in the lobby of the city hall will begin work exhibition of local products. And the famous food bloggers of Greece will present ideas for the Greek Christmas menu.
From November 27 to December 4, 40 restaurants of the city will actively “promote” one dish, which, in their opinion, represents the typical cuisine of Thessaloniki. The result will be a choice of dishes, which will be associated with modern urban gastronomy
December 7 at 19:00 in the restaurant Ergon 5 chefs present their own interpretations of local cuisine. The best will enter the food guide for Thessaloniki.
December 13 at the Mediterranean Palace at 11:00 charity brunch will start and restaurants will be presented and stores that offer gluten-free food.
