According to a survey conducted by the French tourist the portal Allovoyages.fr, Santorini and Mykonos were among the Europe’s most expensive tourist destinations in August 2016 of the year.
Survey respondents compared the average cost of living per European resorts in hotels of 3 * and higher with double by numbers.
The most expensive place was the Spanish resort of Playa d’en Bossa on Ibiza The average price per night at this resort was 254 euros. The Italian town of Positano and the Greek Oia in Santorini are divided second and third places with an average cost of 243 and 242 euros per night respectively.
