It must be said that the service offered in Greek campgrounds, meets the high requirements that impose to places of organized recreation, and has a good developed infrastructure. On the territory of campgrounds often carry out various activities that only complement the pleasant pastime.

In Greece, there are more than 300 organized campgrounds. And all without exception have accreditation in Greek tourist organization. In each of them you will find either a special place for a tent or for a trailer, or small cottage where you can stay with all amenities.
Some may say they prefer wild rest. without camping services. But throughout the country there is a law which prohibits such a “wild” form of recreation. Especially this relates to places located near archaeological sites in coastal areas and reserves.

Most campgrounds located throughout the Greek coast, offer tourists services that in terms of comparable to hotel services. So, many campgrounds are like small resort villages with their own shops, coffee shops and entertainment places for children and adults. Almost all campsites you can go to the Internet (paid or free), to hire scooter, car or quad bike and take advantage of local telephone connection.
