Greece through the eyes of ambassadors and diplomats: new exhibition in Athens


Семь дипломатических миссий объединили усилия для укрепленияlinks with the Greek people through the photo exhibition “Greece through lens of diplomats “. It will be held October 2-11 in the Cultural Center Melinv Mercury in Athens. All photos of Greek nature and daily life made by acting diplomats and ambassadors.

To debunk or confirm stereotypes about Greece – such a goal chased the creators of the exhibition. It will be interesting not only tourists, but also the Greeks themselves, who see their homeland as strangers eyes. And for all participating diplomats this exposition will be way to try on an unusual role. They will forget about their direct responsibilities and prove that diplomatic activity is not limited to official functions only. Their Photos at the exhibition will be presented by the embassies of Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Iraq, Russia, Lebanon and Switzerland.

The lens of the camera diplomats hit the most different corners of Greece. The photos were the most beautiful seascapes, popular sights, churches and moments of life the Greeks.

Photo exhibition opening hours:

  • Weekdays and Saturdays – from 10:00 to 20:00.
  • Sunday until 14:00.
  • On Monday, the exhibition is closed.
  • Free admission.
