As noted in the article, many Greek islands could compete for a high place in the ranking, but it was Folegandros who became the winner. Dazzling sun, traditional Cycladic architecture, bright flowers, orthodox churches with blue domes, the lack of “crowds like on Santorini” determined the winner.
