Танцевально-музыкальный фестиваль возвращается на Крит.On June 17, Matala expects an influx of tourists, who for 3 days will be involved in one of the brightest cultural events of the island. It is planned that this year the festival will be attended by a large number of performers.
But before the festival, the streets of Matala will turn into one huge canvas for street artists of all ages. Street art is one of integral events preceding the festival. Among the musical guests of the event are expected Koza Mostra, Billy Merziotis, Filippos Pliatsikas, Kulamacus The Band, Dub Pistols, Onirama, Kostis Maravegias, Alone Together. And the scene will be located opposite the so-called “Hippie Caves”.
Dance and music (or beach) festival was created, to support the image of Matala as the hippie capital. First similar sand beach activities took place here in the 60s. Along with the performances of musicians and the competition for the best street art workshops, performances and street fairs will be held – and all this from morning till late evening, without age restrictions. Modern festival, continuing the tradition of hippies, was first reborn 6 years ago. But already managed to become an event of the summer, which not to be missed.
