27 сентября в критском Херсониссосе представят богатую программуon the occasion of the Day of Tourism. One day they decided not to limit themselves – Events will end only on October 4th. Scale program will cover not only Hersonissos, but also other villages municipality.
Janis Mastorakis, Mayor of Hersonissos, emphasized: “Our municipality is a popular destination. And we do everything to support the popularity of our travel products. To that same advertising campaign and hospitality of Hersonissos have a positive effect on the economy of all of Crete. ”
Among the main events announced Art Festival in the village of Piskopiano. From September 30 to the end of the Day celebration tourism artists from different countries will create in front of viewers.
September 27-28 Cretan artists will gather near the port of Hersonissos. There will be workshops on weaving, threading wood, icon painting, painting and soap making.
September 28 in the city square will be held Cretan evening with dances, songs and traditional festival arts.
September 30 in the squares of a traditional village Kutouloufari held Cretan nights and musical shows.
October 3 in the port of Hersonissos a children’s choir will perform, and on October 4, an art exhibition will open in Piskopiano and complete the Art Festival.
