Византийский и христианский музей в Афинах вновь устраиваетexhibition “Exhibit of the month”. This tradition has taken root in many museums of Greece. This time the exhibit of the month was Constantinople embroidery.
Visitors access to the collection will open on November 3, and exhibits can be seen until December 31st. Embroidered Gold the vestments presented here belonged to the embroidery workshops of the Greek community of Istanbul of the XIX century.
