Our apartment in Bangkok on the 29th floor in the center cities

For several days now we have been living under the very sky of Bangkok, above probably only stars and Bayok Sky :) And we flew here with glorious island of samui for the simple reason – to live in one of major metropolitan areas of Asia.

Our apartment in The Complete Rajaprarop

First we lived a couple of days at S3 Residence Park, while Looking for an apartment, then moved. I chose the area around Victory Monument, although it’s not the best for a long stay, fits the most. There is a park Santiphap for walking, near two metro stations, excellent transport accessibility to everything, close to shopping centers and supermarkets.

Only one minus – the price of housing, because it is the very center of Bangkok. There was another drawback – gas pollution, but on the 29th floor it is completely not felt, do not reach the exhaust gases.

If you want to find a hotel in Bangkok in advance, choose accommodation conveniently on RoomGuru, this is a service where you can compare hotel prices in different booking systems. I have stayed in Bangkok a lot once and in different hotels.

So, after a day of searching, I found suitable apartments. It turned out that despite the upcoming new year, there is no Bangkok such a peak of the season, like on the islands, and that’s great. I guess, that, if you look for a longer period and a little bit in another area, then can be found cheaper, but it was important for me to live in the center now cities.

I really like the current housing, because life here is arranged to the maximum. This is the best offer I’ve found in a day of searching, and, oddly enough, the cheapest. There were even more expensive, and where it is impossible to cook, and where there is no such amount of equipment, and there are not so many services in the condominium.

Since I was originally looking for a two bedroom apartment, the choice was pretty limited. In the usual small Thai apartments I didn’t even go in there, as a rule, only studios. There was a thought rent two cheap studios, but the price was not much lower, but it’s not very comfortable, and I wanted to have a swimming pool and fitness under sideways.

For a while I wondered if it was worth living in the area in the plan of cafes and shops, but it turned out that in the next street many inexpensive cafes are also sold in the shop papaya / apples / greens / tomatoes, a lot of macaroni with freshly squeezed tangerine and pomegranate juice, sliced fruit and other a meal.

And also here in 10 minutes on foot Tops Market. Well, and a taxi for 5 minutes and 50 baht you can get to the huge two-story Big C Super Сenter with food court, shops and a large playground. There, in fact, near and other shopping centers are located.

Uncommonly

And now I will describe what is unusual after living in an apartment in Moscow First of all, it is unusual to live so high. Coming to the window or on the balcony and breathtaking. It seems never afraid of heights, but dumb for some reason. And when you go in the elevator, your ears are laying a little, strange.

Secondly, it is unusual that everywhere you need to use the card: go into the lobby – you put the card in the elevator, press the button – again You need to attach the card, go into the apartment – again the map, the enemy does not will pass. It’s great that one card for everything, and not a bunch of keys.

Thirdly, it is very unusual that there is everything you need for life: swimming pool, fitness, drinking water, shop, nowhere specifically no need to go. A few days I catch myself thinking that I would lived further, you get used to the infrastructure :)
