We lived in Thailand, specifically in Chiang Mai, for two months and We learned how much the apartments in Thailand cost, how much does the food in Thai cafes and shops, and other every little thing. Time has gone wrong a lot, but we can already draw conclusions for ourselves how much is life in Thailand (it is clear that it is priceless) for us and what is the wintering budget in Thailand. Most likely, spending will be vary by month slightly, so every month writing about how much was spent does not make sense.
Our spending per month in Thailand:
Apartment (apartments) – 6500 baht (our apartment) Utility payments – water 300 baht, electricity 500 baht, mobile phone 100 baht. Internet and TV – 500 baht. Food purchased in the store – 5000 baht. Food in Thai cafes – 1500 baht. Unforeseen expenses – 1000 baht.
The total is about 16,000 baht per month at two. I think it is not bad. In Moscow, we spent about the same amount, only it did not include apartment rent.
All other purchases (clothing, equipment, travel, etc.) I do not I consider here, since it is already optional spending, and a personal matter everyone.
How much is life in Thailand
With all this, you can live much cheaper, and much expensive. For example, you can rent an apartment for 2500 baht without air conditioning (in winter it doesn’t need much), and is only in Thai cafe, but you can on the contrary, rent multi-room apartments with chic renovation or villa, and there is only European food. But even in the latter case, it will turn out cheaper than in the same Russia with the same comfort. Now I will not write more about this in others articles.
Here is a comparison of our spending per month in Phuket: How much we spend on living in Thailand in Phuket.
P.S. Focus on our spending, or the spending of other people, It is worth only with an approximate coincidence of needs. Met on the forums of people that and $ 100 a day in Thailand is not enough. Plus you need understand that it’s one thing to come to Ty for a couple of weeks’ leave, another live there for half a year. The cost of living or resting significantly is different.
