Perhaps Doi Ang Khang will now be my favorite in the north Thailand Out of the whole trip, I liked the most here, though and in May, Salong is also not bad from the point of view of a place in the mountains. However, in Ang Khang there is still a very beautiful park of plants, besides mountain landscapes, and some kind of untouched. Tourists here very few, at least foreign, but in English in general almost no one says. In general, this seemed very “clean” a place in terms of the atmosphere, I wanted to come back here again — not even so while I was there, I wanted to stay for a while and not leave at all, do nothing and just be.
Still, there is a huge difference, a popular tourist destination. or not. And, I think, this property will remain for some time, for the sake of flowers, few will go here, in Chiang Mai itself, the stream is still not very big. Also in this province I recommend to see very beautiful hot springs fang, they are not exactly along the way, but in scope of travel in the north of Thailand fit well.

On the one hand, in addition to the park with plants, see Doi Angkhang and nothing special. On the other hand, it seems to me that zest of the whole north of Thailand, because there is nowhere better.
Something similar is done at Flora Garden in Chiang Mai, but it is not quite that. I would advise to allocate the whole day for unhurried visiting the park in order to have time to feel the place, and not just make a bunch of pictures. There and cafes are cute where you can relaxed to sit, and just benches in the shadows and colors, where, surely even the books will be read in a special way. And the most important thing, everything is quiet, measured, and no buses with batch tourists. Occasionally there are Thais who can shit, but this is somehow not at all annoying.
The territory of the agricultural station is large, it will be on foot hard to get around. As a rule, all moved by cars or bikes. Maybe there are bicycles, but I did not recognize. Start right on circle, following the signs from the start. Have entered, paid an entrance, and almost immediately to the right a large indoor flower pavilion, flower beds on open air, two tropical pavilions, stairs up to rock and garden with bonsai. Already here you can get stuck for a couple of hours.

We go further to the other end of the park, and we fall into another beautiful garden. My heart sank when I saw the houses here. As well probably great to spend a few days here among the mountains, with beautiful view from the window and 10 meters from the fragrant fragrances.

Also, for sure, there are some trekkings, but it took me just to see the park. Maybe for some it will be trivial, but I was impressed how some interesting finds of Thais and ordinary flower flower beds. In general, the scale of the park is amazing.
Before leaving, you can look at the viewing platforms. I had time see only one, apparently this is the top of Mount Ang Khang (Doi Ang Khang). Upstairs is the road and near the improvised Parking there is a cafe with hot tea and some kind of food.

A budget guesthouse for the night where I stayed, but please note It is very simple and cannot be booked via the Internet. Still, I recommend booking in advance, for example, a good hotel – Angkhang Nature Resort, it is there only one available for reservation. Or will not have to spend the night here, but go down to the main road and spend the night there, in the same fang. But I would not hurry, spent the night.

We drive in a car / bike, look for parking right away, go out and we look around, we go on pavilions. Then again we sit in the car and drive to the next parking lot. As a result, we make a circle and return to the place where they started from. But you can go on the other side, if you wish. It takes about 3 hours, no less. And if in relaxed pace, then you can spend the whole day stopping take pictures and snack in the cafes.
