Addition to the previous post about the lake Cheo Lan, I can’t but mention a separate place – the dam and the park, which are completely near the pier on the lake. I do not know if they are visited with organized excursions from Phuket, but if you go independent and on its own transport, it is worth to call in. Views there open no less beautiful than during the walk itself boat, and, for free. Here you have some photos from there, so say a little beauty.
Ratchaprapa Dam and Prapapir Pavilion
Lake Cheo Lan formed due to the dam Ratchaprapha Dam, so it was interesting for me to look at it, 94 meters high and 761 meters in length as nothing. On Google Maps, by the way, the dam marked not at all there (at the time of writing the post), where it is on really that got me a little confused when preparing for the trip. So that you can navigate to a point on my map, it’s marked there Pavilion with an unpronounceable name (Praphaphirom Pavilion), in fact, this place is located a small park, and the dam right about him. Do not get lost on the spot, there is one way, longer explain. It’s funny that the road goes straight along the dam, you can quite drive it if you have time.
