I had a hitch with Klong Toab beach. Difficulty coastal the line that changes there from the hills to the plain is interrupted by the river and rock formations, tricky road, crookedly drawn tourist map – all of this together led me to looked only half the beach. And the worst half of it, and I I was firmly convinced that this was the whole Klong Toab.

Beach description
The main feature of Klong Toab Beach is its location. on road 4245, the main road on Koh Lanta. Beach stretched from north to south almost half a kilometer, and with the road is visible only its first half. Starting from Lanta Corner Resort

Entry, depth and waves
There is no entry into the water from the embankment, and it is not needed – hardly anyone dare to swim here. Depth over 100 meters is not very large, and at low tide, the lunar landscape and piling up stones at the bottom. Closer to the center under water is observed approach channel for longtails and boats.
Much prettier look small sand stripes on the second half of Klong Toab, where the main infrastructure of the beach and its housing stock. Judging by the state of the coast at seafront – the waves are, but most likely – in the off-season.
The beaches of the second half of Klong Toab, I personally did not examine, alas. Therefore, the pictures will be only from the embankment of Klong Toaba.
Sun beds and shade
In the second half of Klong Toab beach, to which I did not get, has everything you need for a tourist holiday. But since the snapshots I don’t have this half, I’ll leave the narrative to the best times. Based on what I saw on the nearby beaches, I dare suggest that on the sandy beaches of Klong Toab there are umbrellas and chaise lounges, but with a natural shade strained – the beaches are very wide, especially at low tide.

Infrastructure
There is no infrastructure in the first half of Klong Toab. Worth literally two purely Thai cafes and everything. And driving along the main road, I saw benzomats, a lot of cafes, a couple of serious restaurants, many Thai shops, a mosque, rentals and repair of equipment, and even the office of a lawyer, not to mention street travel agencies. Some major attractions I did not find nearby.
Houses and hotels on the beach
On the desert part of Klong Toab there are no houses, except for the resort in его начале — Lanta Corner Resort .

How to find the beach
From Saladan (ferries from Krabi arrive here) to Klong Toab about 20-25 minutes drive. If you are driving on your own and go straight here, then on the pier you can buy a ticket to mini bus
The fare on the minibus is about 500 baht.
If you arrived at Koh Lanta on your transport, then go by track 4245 until you jump out into open space, where the sea will splash at 10-15 meters from the road – such a plot on the west bank of Lanta is one of a kind, skip complicated. This will be the beginning of Klong Toab Beach.
