I want to tell you about my blog tour of the Czech Republic, or rather even about 2 blog tour and a separate week in Prague, when I was given myself to myself. Total turned out 3 to 1, very good. That was my The first experience of blogging, and if in brief, I liked it. Someone will say, of course, who would not like it, but when it’s your job, it becomes all different. Anyway, I wouldn’t mind go one more time, however, only in those countries that I even a little interesting.

Blog tour and what it eat
A few months ago, a Czech Tourizm representative wrote to me and offered to come for 4 days on a blog tour of Prague and several more cities in the company of several bloggers from other countries. When I He agreed, he also offered to go back to Liberec (this is the 6th by number of the city in the Czech Republic) for 3 days, but already in the city alone
Without thinking, I immediately agreed, especially not looking at the conditions trips. Just the day before, I thought, what else to do besides Thailand, and just thought it was about Prague, since it is quite popular with Russian tourists. And here is a sentence, straight sign, what to go
I was wondering how they found me at all, because my blog is on Russian (and a person who does not speak Russian found me), and mine mostly Asian direction. The mystery has remained a mystery somehow through Google and the translator, she could not even explain. Perhaps they needed fresh people who were not really Czech Republic, but in any case it was a sign! And, of course, I was pleased that I was invited to tour as much from the state tourist organizations.
Our team of bloggers: Russia, Italy, Germany and the Czech guide
And separately I, in person
To be honest, the conditions of the trip were clearly not for top bloggers essentially paid only for tickets and hotels. But me OK, I also had my own goal, to see the Czech Republic and Prague for the creation of a guidebook. In absentia I was already ready since I had already arrived in the Czech Republic, but that was a long time ago. And very cool that the tour took place not only in Prague, which is known to everyone, but also on the outskirts of the country. 4 days too little, yes, but this was enough to understand, I like the Czech Republic so much to come again and again to collect material or not.
The Czech Republic is not a toy like Germany, and Prague is too flooded with tourists, for which some do not like it. Basically yes, that is, that is. However, the tourist flow here is all equally huge, and it consists not only of those who go to the first times, but also from those who travel regularly. You know, it seems to me, here all, as with Thailand (and any other country), or like it in whole or not. I am now rather the first.
In fact, it is worth a little distance from the center and there will not be such a crowd of tourists. Take the same Christmas markets. On the Old Town Square (the most important), really, make it to the counters at the weekend (on weekdays better), but other areas are much more modest. I mean the scale, the tree simpler, shops less, but for the number of people at times decreases, especially tourists. But the atmosphere is all the same – Christmas, and the range of products on sale is the same: souvenirs various, mulled wine, sausages and so on. For this, those who are tired of crowds, well, move away a bit from the center. Prague is very different in general may be.
Travel began immediately after arrival
Standard Street Food Set
Visually, many Czechs are similar to Russians.
Sometimes it’s the other way around.
Charles Bridge – very touristy, sometimes not crowded
Most of all I liked to look at Prague from above
TV tower that does not fit into the architecture Prague
Evening Prague is especially beautiful
Kafka’s head, folding-folding
Before Christmas on each square market and tree
Christmas atmosphere is felt in almost every cafe.
Streets are completely different
The very center of Prague
As an option, go not to Prague, but to another city, which is not so much to the ear, which means there will be fewer tourists anyway. Our entire team, consisting of Italian, German and Russian me, Were happy to ride around the country, just to see not popular places.
Brno is the 2nd largest city in the Czech Republic. And, as they say, themselves local, there is an eternal dispute which city is better. Prague citizens are in favor of Prague, and Brnovians for their Brno, they say, it is not inferior to the capital and even better.
The architecture in the city center is about the same as in Prague, but a little further away the building is newer in the style of functionalism. Such flat cubes parallelepipeds. I at least learned new styles, otherwise dark, all for the atmosphere I go, and not for art or history.
Native trams ride across the Czech Republic, Brno is no exception
One of the main streets
Villa of 1930 It’s usual for us, but then it was a bomb!
The villa has a nice view.
Brno Center and Christmas Market
Tourists are already much smaller, mostly local
Exposure for Christmas
Most of all I liked the trip for 1 day to countryside, then There is a village, if you can call this provincial small town (a few days taught its name). And we went there not a normal car, but on the real steam train that is stored in the museum and once a year makes such a few hour trip before Merry christmas We drove naturally on coal, everything is as it should be, but the conductor was dressed like 100 years ago, full styling.
As a child I was a fan of the railway, like many boys. Deficiency, not everything could be bought. Then my dreams never come true, so now I do not always breathe evenly to the trains, as old and new. And, probably, this train ride was most memorable on a trip, the more we were given a ride in the driver’s cab and see what a steam engine is. is he as if alive, everything rattles around you, shakes, you stand so shrouded in smoke and steam, with an idiotic smile on his face, except in soot is not enough to get dirty for complete happiness.
The real working steam locomotive
They didn’t move it, but it was easy to drive in the cabin.
The town itself is no less interesting. There were only locals, no one foreign tourist, at least I have not heard any speech, except Czech. The atmosphere of the cafes, the people themselves, walking around “devils” (forgot how they are called) – everything is so authentic or something, the present.
Well, you know, the same Prague is being scolded by some for its excessive touristiness, they say, so it is already sharpened for tourists, under pumping out money that even Christmas markets and traditions are invented only for visitors. And in small towns like Valašské Klobouky, you understand that ordinary local people also love Christmas and the whole family come to similar market fairs to have a fun time. And yes, they drink the same hot wine, Mead (mead our way), eat pancakes and sausages.
Devils at the fair. And they have a competition who is cooler
Blacksmith forges and immediately shoots a horse
Draniki, which lined up a whole line
Roznov under Radgostem
The city itself is not much I remember – But the adoption of a beer bath, I I will remember for a long time. Many people asked me on Instagram, well like, is there an effect and everything like that. For me, since one time hardly anything will change. Rather, it’s just interesting and unusual. experience, a couple of hours of spa, and not a super-mega wellness procedure. Not I argue, it may be useful, but one time is clearly not enough, you have to walk regularly, actually, like everywhere else. I recommend beer lovers try what it is like when beer is everywhere: inside you, outside you and hovers in the air. But yes, in the bath itself is not final product that is sold in the beer right there, and some solution on hops base, from the first stage of beverage production.
Right next to the beer spa, a good restaurant, and chocolate score. 3 in one! You can lure companion food and sweets, if she is indifferent to beer
First time in my life took a beer bath
And for lovers to throw a couple of pounds after beer drinking Nearby is the mountain where the cable lift leads. Upstairs You can arrange hiking or skiing. Can walk in winter be a little tough because fog, blizzard and all the rest flowing real winter.
We rise to the top, no sign is visible
Were trekking a small trekking
But only two survived to the frozen church.
The same town where I went alone. He is already in the other side of Prague, closer to Germany, and it’s also possible add to your Czech Republic autotravel plan. Yes me something fused this idea, drive a car around the Czech Republic, but in the summer, when everything is green and not frozen.
Liberec is famous for its castle, which is nearby, and the city has few sights. However, stay at one can stay there for a couple of days, again being among the locals, see on the province. Another advantage is that prices are lower than in Prague.
Liberec is a small town, most in the photo
The symbol of the city on the mountain is Ještěd’s tower, but naturally fog
City Square near the Town Hall

Interesting idea – chocolate tools
P.S. Well, I’m ready for the next blog tour If anyone works in the european ministries of tourism, call, come with pleasure!
