What to see in Pereslavl-Zalessky – my walk

In Pereslav-Zalessky, I have been repeatedly. Last time we arrived at the festival Movement, but since the weather was bad, then we decided to see the city itself, as well as look into a couple museums and arboretum.

It is better to go to Pereslavl for a couple of days, or at least for a day, especially if you go not from Moscow, but from a farther city. Otherwise, without spending the night it will be hard to do everything. Here is my post – A selection of budget hotels with a good rating and reviews among which I chose where to stay. And I chose in my opinion one of best options in town.

Author’s excursions

For those who want to save time preparing for the trip and to dive more fully into the atmosphere and history of the city, I would recommended to use the services of a private guide in Pereslavl-Zalessky. In my opinion individual tours much more interesting than organized excursions with their great number of people and a hackneyed program. Especially with private guide you can always agree on the time and day you prefer.

See below, selected author tours, a little, but but quality.

My walk around Pereslavl-Zalessky

The city is quite small and most of it is private. sector, you will not see here high-rises and skyscrapers. Population 40 thousand people, located 140 km from Moscow, enters the Golden Ring. According to Wikipedia, about 300 thousand people a year visit the city. Perhaps this is why tourist prices are here.

I did not set out to go around the whole city, the more the weather was windy, cold, and I was dressed like a summer. Some special the city did not impress, everything is typical of a small city: shabby houses, bad roads, desolation. In my opinion, here it is worth going first of all for nature, one Plescheevo lake, of which worth it. But tourist attractions enough, though they are local poshiba. So there is something to see in a couple of days. Below I will list.
