I’ll say right away we really liked the town and its surroundings, it’s green and OK. I can recommend this trip as a weekend route. day or even two – with an overnight stay in a tent on the banks of the river. WITH small children will be a little harder to wander around here than in asphalt parks, due to the inability to use the stroller, but nonetheless still real.
Tell me who has children, you are always going for a very long time. day trip or weekend? Whether we are doing something wrong, or it should be so, but even to go to some manor at it takes us a few hours to get ready, as if not a walk, but a whole Expedition is planned

Manor Pushchino on Oka
After half a day we prowled out to walk into the manor. Pushchino on the Oka. Despite the fact that it is within the city and is a monument of architecture, complete neglect reigns here. If a no one will do it in the near future, then soon nothing will come from her will remain. And the place is beautiful – on the high bank of the Oka stands a three-story house and from it down to the river leads, or rather led, elegant staircase, and not far from the house there is a lime alley and swampy pond. When in such places, I always wonder how People used to live, not to compare with our concrete cabinets.

It is problematic to get inside the estate – most windows boarded up with boards or bricked up, and the entrances closed with iron sheets. If you try, then, of course, you can climb into the open windows of the upper floors, but we did not do this, because, rather in total, there’s nothing to look inside after finding a hospital Soviet time in the building of the estate. Yes, and not quite right to climb where specifically closed.
Pushchino Manor on Oka was built in the 18th century, although the first The mention of these lands dates back to the 16th century. Manor many times changed owners: boyar Pushchin – retired major Artsibashev – nobles Ofrosimovy – merchant Weber – tea merchant Perlov – owner Chestnut factories. It was also rebuilt several times before revolution representing a whole complex – the church buildings, a cascade of ponds and a park. Now there is only the main house in a classic style, almost ruined stables and a glacier cellar. AT the time when the manor was owned by the Ofrosimovs often visited composer Alyabyev, who composed his works in the estate and subsequently married the widow Ofrosimova.

Near the font there is a karst funnel, representing a small rift in the ground. This place reminded us of something. Revival in the Caucasus. A little further away you can see a small waterfall and spring. We slowly passed these 4 km in 5 hours many stops. I want to warn you right away that there will be a stroller there it is difficult to walk, forest paths, not park ones, in places very narrow and through the thickets of nettle, besides the part of the way goes along the steep slope. So a sling or similar devices can be very bail out in this situation. Tourist foam will also not superfluous, for there are no benches for rest in the forest.

How to get to Pushchino
Naturally, the easiest way to do this is by car. Need to go on Simferopol highway and immediately after the bridge over the Oka will turn on Pushchino. Upon reaching the city, you immediately get to the central Avenue of Science and approximately in its middle you need to turn left, and you will run into the street that runs along the Oka. Here you need to decide which one you will go along the path (especially no difference). If on this on the street you will turn to the right, that in 100 meters there will be a lookout playground with parking and a sharp descent down. If you rotate to the left, then you will need to drive 800 m along a primer (asphalt will be replaced by a primer) through the cottages and you will see an information board ecological trails and a path down.
Public transport can be reached from Serpukhov by Bus 26, get off at the Hospital stop. Before Serpukhov go electric trains from Moscow and intercity buses. Also immediately from the subway South can get to Pushchino by bus 359, so it will be more likely just faster. In the latter case, from the bus station in Pushchino go 10 minutes to the observation deck.
In any case, the town is small, getting lost is quite difficult, besides, locals will always tell you where to go.
