History of the Ostafyevo Manor Museum
The manor was built by Prince Vyazemsky at the end of the 18th century and most of the time belonged to his descendants. Fourth of these for some reason, sold it to Count Sheremetyevo, who I tried to keep everything there, opened several monuments and created Pushkin Museum. After the revolution, the status of the museum remained, but only until the age of 30, after which various institutions were located there and Holiday House. The collection was scattered around other museums and sold out. And only a couple of years before the restructuring of the estate again received the status of the museum.

How to get to the estate Ostafyevo? Getting there by car is easier simple. You need to go along the old Varshavka to Podolsk and on the first turn in Shcherbinka go to the right, cross the railway moving in a straight line (not the main road), without turning anywhere, passing the Ostafyevo airport, you will come to the entrance to the park opposite churches. And by public transport, if you go, then first to Shcherbinka station on the train or minibus (from metro station Dmitry Donskoy) and further on the 45th bus to the destination.
