In early August in Moscow there was a terrible heat and smog. Trying to escape from this hell, my friends and I went to rest on the lake Volgo, near Lake Seliger.
We went just by car, with tents, without any plans for a couple of days. I used to be at Seliger, we came to set a car at some camp site, they took a boat and swam away for a few days for some parking. This time we decided that we didn’t want to become attached to the boat, and we want the car to stand at its side. Therefore, we chose a place on the lake on the advice of a friend. Arriving at the place, we learned that such intelligent as we, apparently all Moscow, and although it was a weekday there were many people. About the surf itself Volgo camp, I generally keep quiet, there is just a full house. Although if you like hanging out and listening to music, then this place suits you. maybe so the camp is full of youth. They also go there on weekends concerts with discos, there is a dining room, table tennis, mesh for volleyball, and of course surfboards. Yes, there is still a bath on the shore.

We prefer a wild rest, a small number of people, a merger with nature and all that. Therefore, we did not just stand next to the surf camp of the Volga, and at the very end of the so-called “Lost World”. This is free parking so called, after it already goes marshy coast overgrown with tall grass. Only so far the location saved us from noise and din.

Where are the people, there is rubbish. This is just a law of some kind for recreation. in Russia. Our neighbors were father, son and canoe. Thank them more for giving us a ride around the lake. I like that did not count. If it were not for the kayak, our leisure would be more than modest: talk by the fire, flowing into philosophical conversations, amazing psychedelic sunsets, and the black starry August sky. But Do you need something else for happiness?

Lake Volgo, how to get
From Moscow it is easiest to go here in New Riga, turn into Rzhev, drive through the city and go to Selizharovo.
