Karabetova Sopka

It turns out we have an active volcano in Central Russia, the truth is mud. The road there was difficult and dangerous, we even lost one wheel, but it was worth it. At least for the sake of unusual landscapes, resembling the moon, at least I imagine them so. Upstairs there was even a lake, but we did not dare to swim in it, because there are grazing animals.

The Karabetov volcano itself, during our arrival, slept deeply and just like a big pile of dried mud that turned into gray-white cracked ground.

We already thought to leave, but accidentally found salsa, mud sources. Actually, for the sake of which everyone comes here. Fells blowing mud bubbles look quite impressive. No less interesting and watch how the stream of mud meditatively moves out way down. At first it seems that he is not moving at all.

Some members of our crew could not resist the freebie. and took with them a whole five-liter of the healing mixture, which we then, in Gelendzhik, they successfully presented masks and other lovers mud treatments.

Lake Salt Taman

On this day, our dirty adventures did not end immediately after Karabetovskaya hill we went to the Salty Lake, which located near the village Veselovka. The dirt is different there, but probably no less healing. She is so hearty black was that there was a feeling that I walk on the bank with shoe polish. Only on top of this shoe polish sprinkled salt on the ground. Salt by the way there really is enough, it lies straight in pieces, not like in Khan the lake.

Driving along the lake to the beach (on the edge of a very hard surface, at least arrange the race), we were on the beach at the campsite. And here they appeared, 4 black glittering humanoids, well, exactly the other the planets flew. Our spellbound views could only take a herd of Zaporozhetsyov, who were rustling past. And where did they come from?

How to get there

It is best to get to the Karabetovaya hill by a dirt road, marked on the map in blue. This is the easiest way. For now there built a railway, and on the other side (from the sea) drive already difficult. We tried, but the move was not there until the end is ready. In any case, the option on the card is no longer. How to find this right turn on this dirt road? It is located before Taman herself, and before the turn, where there is a big inscription “Taman”. We first turned at the inscription, but there now go it is impossible, there is some kind of a tower and it blocks the way.

It is generally easy to get to Salty Lake. Just guided by map. We drove along the road marked in blue. But you can drive up from the direction of Veselovka. You can also drive first to the beach where the campsite is located, but there is a barrier there. We first arrived at the lake, and along its edge we arrived at the beach, bypassing everything roadblocks
