Initially, we planned the Carpathians, but most of the participants They wanted to go to the sea, and the Carpathians changed to a hike to the Crimea. I I was not upset at all and began to study tourist routes Crimea. After all, I had to lead a group of people, and I lay all responsibility for this event. This was my first trip when I myself am preparing for it, and even leading people. It’s good that they are all mine friends, and in case of failure, I would not be beaten.
In just a few days, the hiking route in the Crimea was compiled. The acquaintances and the Crimean LJ community helped. Was also a map of Crimea with tourist routes was bought, and downloaded to phone with GPS map, which later came in handy.

Our route was through the mountains to the sea (by reference information about the route and tips for beginners), just like through the thorns to the stars. This is a very good option to first get tired specifically, and then fall on the beach a couple of days. And here is my report to you hike
The first day. Tankovo Village – Yuzyk-Khaya Rocks (Mountain Chardaklyk)
From the train we got off in Bakhchisarai. From here we had to get to the village of Tankovoe, where our hike began. In Bakhchisarai we found that there is no exchanger near the station, and we have no hryvnia with you. Therefore, we had to walk to the bus station, along the way finding the exchange office.
Prices in Ukraine pleasantly surprised. Food will be cheaper than ours in Moscow. Having tasted the Ukrainian ice cream in Tank, we hit the road. That’s where the adventures began. We walked along road marked on the map, and she took and ended. Had to to wade through the thicket, through the so-called carter, along heat, scratching the face and hands. The people began to grumble. But through some time we were rewarded with a beautiful view from the cliff Yuzik-Khaya to the surrounding mountains and the cave city of Mangup-Kale! Everything gasped and realized that without complications we would not appreciate dignity all the beauty of this place. It was immediately decided spend the night.

Second day. Mount Chardaklyk – Mangup-Kale Cave City
The next morning, the adventures continued – we tried go down to the cave city entrance Mangup Kale, and it took us a few hours, as again they were worn through the forest.

Downstairs we were met with open arms by a forester, at least at least it was written in his crust. And tore us to 15grn (60r) per person, they say you have to pay for moving around the forest zone (1 day – 15 UAH). Very similar to a divorce, although he showed us the paper. They did not want to get involved, the money was not big (we told him that 1 day and we will go). But what he was pleased, bloomed straight, as if Mercedes bought. In the evening we climbed Mangup-Calais. Rose on the other hand, not to pay bribes. And safely spent the night, despite the frightening posters – “a penalty for the night hryvnia dohrena. ”

Third day. The cave city of Mangup-Kale – t / s Istoki – stream Suatkan
In the morning we walked through the stone apartments of the cavemen. It reminded me of all this Cappadocia. And here we were stopped harsh guys on harsh UAZ, with the requirement to present tickets Uncles were safely sent, and we went down and continued our hike in the Crimea.

The Sources passed the third day and did not plan to spend the night on Suatkan river, which is not far from the rich gorge, because again strayed due to the roads ended. Saved only GPS. Discontent in the masses began to grow. I could only blame the map in 1974 and regret not having bought a normal tourist navigator. BUT when the next day I took people straight up the hill, yes through the forest, they were ready to roast me on a fire and eat as the Indians ate Cook My poking at the map, and admonitions that there is a road, she just “slightly” overgrown, not a ride. After that, I finally drew for itself the conclusion that the roads indicated on this ill-fated map, as the soil, we will no longer go, but we will follow only tourist routes.

Day four. Brook Suatkan – t / s Becchu – t / s Ai Dimitri – overnight in the forest
Coming out on a normal road, our squad rushed with a whistle forward, only heels sparkled. It turns out that newcomers lacked just a good roadway for the realization of their capabilities. We stopped only to make some amazing photos after Bečku pass on the ridge Kordon-Bair.

Having skipped Ai-Dimitriy’s parking, and having quenched the incessant thirst spring, we spent the night, and not having time to get out of the reserve. And at least we were very strained by the signs “for the passage through the reserve 510 UAH (2040r) “, but it was not our plan to walk in the dark. And at night there was a strong thunderstorm, and the people were worried, inadvertently turn into a kebab.
Our camp is on a slope near the Ai-Dimitriy site.
Fifth day. Overnight in the forest – r / c Tea house – waterfall Silver Jets – T / C Canyon
Happy about walking along the road, not along the coachmen, we, passing the Tea House parking, we quickly came to the Silver Falls jet (then he was still). How beautiful it is there! So awesome We had a day there, with a swim. And the waterfall really was from cascades of silver streams.
